2014 Limestone Magnum

Vintage 2014, deep in heart of a historic 4 year drought, produced the most fruit forward Cabernets we have ever harvested from our estate vineyard. Our 2014 Limestone Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a no compromise combination of heady aromas, delightful fruit, complexity, acidic sparkiness and a lasting finish. It is nicely perfurmed, with hints of dark fruit and spice. This "Limestone" is dense, but still juicy on the palate evoking dark cherry, vanilla and coffee flavors. Fresh acidity yields to fine tanins for a lingering, dusty-fine finish. Vinous rates this wine 92 points and suggests a "drinking window" of 2021 to 2028, but you won't be dissapointed if you start drinking this wine now and often, saving a few bottle for the 10 year anniversary and beyond.
